Last week I was privileged to photograph the first ever Wesleyan Daddy/Daughter Sweetheart Dance, in Norcross Ga!  It was extra special to be able to participate, this is where my kids go to school, and my oldest, Bailey was there with her daddy (my husband!).  The girls were all adorable, and the daddies all seemed to really enjoy themselves!  Holly Villla you did a WONDERFUL job organizing this event, thank you so much for creating such a wonderful experience for all of our girls and their daddies! Since our move here to Atlanta last summer I have had the opportunity to get back into photographing musicians!  This is something that I love, working with a musician or band, seeing their vision for their bands photographs and helping them turn that vision into a still photograph.  While my first love will always be photographing children and families, I love that musicians stretch my creativity even further!  Artist to artist, it’s fun to see where we end up!

I had the chance to meet New Born Hustlas a few weeks ago.  This was a fast session, simply to get their branding and press kits started.  And even though we had a very cold day here in Atlanta, we had a good time!  We will be having a full session here in a few weeks and I look forward to sharing those images!

Want to do something a little different for this years Valentines?  Valentines Day will be here before we know it!  I will be having mini sessions on 2 different dates, Jan 18th & the 21st.  The session is $55 per child, includes a 15 min session, 2 5×7′s and 25 4×5 Valentines to pass out at school!  Schedule quickly, these go fast!

This year I wanted to challenge myself to take a photo a day of my family, and post their photos here!  I’m pretty good at actually taking the pictures of my kids, but some how they never get edited, and sit on the dusty back shelves of my computers hard drive!  So this year I’m going to try to change that!  I know I’m already a day late, we have all been sick this week!  So here’s to a new challenge!  Hope each of your families have a beautiful, full of grace, calm, blessed, new year!! And enjoy getting to know my family a little better!
